Israel on Campus

Strategies and consulting for positively branding Israel on social networks, dealing with BDS and “Apartheid Week.”

This service will also be offered to companies and organizations engaged in Israel advocacy.

We run programs for students in Israel and on campus to teach participants how to maximize the spread of their personal Israel stories on social media and make them go viral. We show them how to use their experiences to engage and connect with other individuals and groups on campus. We demonstrate how to use these methods to deal with things like BDS and “Apartheid Week.” BOMAH is revolutionary in Israel activism by emphasizing positive messages and storytelling before dry facts and figures.

Building a Student Social Media Team on Campus

The program is founded on the belief that Jewish college students are interested in building their own community. By giving them the resources, support, and training they need, Jewish student communities will flourish.

Students are constantly using social media. It is like a second language to them and is today’s language of marketing and business. This valuable program will give students the confidence and experience to use social media to enhance their professional futures.
This team will have the same aims detailed in BOMAH’s Strategy, but from the perspective of college students.

Fellows will engage a niche tribe of writers, artists and technophiles who will build Jewish communities online through their websites, blogs, Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media outlets. Those students will meet with social media, public relations and technology specialists for mentoring and to discuss best practices. This initiative will develop these students’ leadership skills through mentoring, workshops, meetings, staff support, and proper resources, as well as giving them an outlet to create and set forth their vision for their Jewish community. By engaging and developing leaders of this tribe of passionate students, they will strengthen their positive outlook on their Jewish identities and be more likely to give back to their respective Jewish communities in the future.

By empowering a group of Jewish college students to take the lead on local Jewish social media, we can help to change the atmosphere on their campuses. These students will be adding valuable, real-time content on the web, including video, tweets, and blogs to communicate a cohesive message to the public.
